Chrome quick-add extension

Add a company to your watchlist in one click while browsing — what it does, when to use it, and what it can access.

Chrome quick-add extension

TL;DR — The Thawly Chrome extension lets you add a company to your watchlist in one click while you're browsing — for example from a LinkedIn company page — without opening Thawly.

What it does

Once installed and signed in, the extension puts a Thawly button in your browser toolbar. On a company's page, click it to add that company to your monitored list. It then starts picking up signals like any company you'd upload by CSV — counting against your plan's company cap.

Installing it

The full walkthrough — install, sign-in, adding your first company, permissions, and troubleshooting — lives on the dedicated guide:

When to use it

  • Great for ad-hoc adds when you spot a lost prospect in the wild.
  • For bulk lists, a CSV upload or CRM sync is still the fastest path.

If a company you add is on your blocklist, it's silently skipped — that's expected.

What it can access

The extension is deliberately narrow: it reads the page you're on only when you click the button, and talks to Thawly to add the company. No background tracking. See the install guide for the exact permission list.
